About the author:

Philippe GENDREAU began his carrer as a defense engineer. First as head of the underwater affairs at the Centre d'Essais de la Méditerranée in Toulon, then as manager at the delegation for international Affairs of the French MOD.

He has thus worked as program manager at Rockwell and Department head at Thales's IT subsidiary.

In 1996, he became a financial analyst. SInce then he has followed the complete set of TMT segments (IT, telecom, Equipment and Media) as head of equity research team in ABN AMRO, ING and Credit Agricole. He has also been in Private Equity for three years as the Partner in charge of the techno sector at MGT, a leading French corporate finance boutique.

Philippe gratuated from Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE sup Aero and holds an MBA degree from INSEAD. He is also a fully qualified IFR pilot.

About this blog:

Philippe had already run a blog for  few years ago which is still in line (http://gendreau.blogs.com) but he had to stop posting in 2007 for compliance reasons. This blog is thus a continuation of the previous one, albeit on a more modern infrastructure. If you like it, please comment and give it a good buzz.

Technically, the blog runs on Drupal 6.2. Philippe set up the site from scratch using a standard Drupal installation and some extra PHP developments.
